Seed beads are very small glass beads, also known as rocailles.
Seed beads are ideal for making jewellery, they are used for mostly bead weaving where there are endless possibilities of different weaving techniques. Seed beads can be used for bead embroidery and garment embellishment, and creating beaded kumihimo, and making stretchy bracelets on elasticity.
Size 11/0 seed beads are approx 1.5x 2mm.
Size 8/0 seed beads are approx 1.85 x 3mm.
We sell them in weight, as they are too small to count!Â
Sweepings are a random mix of sizes, colours and finishes from our range of rocailles and bugles. A very handy thing to keep in your bead box as you don’t often find mixes with quite so many shades in!
